Substantiation Study for the General Urbanistic Plan. Traffic Section.

Description:

The general traffic study at the level of the Constanta municipality and at the level of the territory of influence (peri-urban territory) was based on a traffic model extended to the level of the peri-urban territory, including part of the road network in the port of Constanta.

The work included proposals regarding development of the urban road network and their phasing.

Taking into account the simulated traffic flows, but also the position and functionality of the urban road network as a whole, all the traffic lighted and/or non-traffic lighted intersections that required redevelopment and/or the introduction/revision of traffic lights were marked.

An analysis was also made on the connection between the road transport mode and the other transport modes (rail, sea and air).
